Thanks for the input. It's on the list for the next release. I've had numerous occasions where a server doesn't have enough C drive space to complete the WSUS installation, so it just hangs. I agree that it would be nice to know in advance if there isn't much space on the remote machine.

You should include an indicator to show the disk space on the drive while update.

Hi Doug,

Could you make the date - time format compatible with Excel spreadsheet (leave the hyphen out)? I use the last boot time to record the server downtime. For now I have to do a replace function to remove them.

1 more thing, I notice that some entries from the last boot time do not reflect the actual server startup time after reboot. Could you take a look and fix it?

Other than that, it's a great tool.

Lovely tool.. albeit a bit unpolished in the UI parts - have you considered releasing the source for tinker at (I know .. sometimes the source is a bit messy ..) and feed you with the updates?

I would LOVE to be able to select this action in your tool:
psexec \\server -d C:\windows\system32\wuauclt.exe /resetauthorization /detectnow

I find a lot of servers just don't check in again (during the maintenance window) until I run this command. I need to see WSUS knows their status before I quit, so I do a remote reset-detectnow.
